Policy Consultations: The purpose of the Safe Church Policy Consultation Service is to offer low- cost, limited consultation on children, youth, and vulnerable adult protection policies for faith-based churches, schools, camps, and organizations. Typically, we offer written feedback for a policy or policy draft, and then we set up a phone or video call to discuss the feedback. 

Situational Consultations: The purpose in these consultations is to assist groups with best practices and provide guidelines and support. We do not offer investigations, crisis management, or formal authority. In general, our purpose in these consultations is to help organizations consider how to follow their policy and how to remain victim/survivor-centered during challenging situations. (If the organization does not yet have a policy, we can provide advice based on best practice to get through the immediate situation and then assist with the development of a policy.)  

Sex Offender Policy Consultation: The purpose of this consultation is to assist groups with best practices and provide guidelines and support when a known sex offender asks to attend your faith community. (Update of policy guidelines is in process.)
